Christingle panel – fused glass

Description

This fused glass panel has a picture of a Christingle on it and will brighten up any room and is great gift for Christmas. The Christingle is a symbolic object used in the Advent services of many Christian denominations. Christingle means ‘Christ Light’ and is used to celebrate Jesus Christ as the “Light of the World”.

It is made in tack fused glass, which means the fusing has been at a temperature hot enough to stick the glass together, but not to melt it into a smooth blob. This keeps the texture of the glass pieces. There is a choice to have it on a hanging ribbon or a wooden stand with a hole for a tealight candle.

The panel is 15 x 15cm (hanging version), 13 x 18cm (on a stand)
